Hyundai Reaches Out to Those Affected by Hurricane Sandy’s Wrath

Do you know someone who was affected by Hurricane Sandy? Perhaps you have relatives in New York or New Jersey, or maybe you were even visiting these places yourself and were trapped at the JFK airport. The point is, this 'Frankenstorm' affected (directly or indirectly) millions of people in our great country, and we should all do our part to help in the recovery efforts. That's why South Korean automaker Hyundai is donating $500,000 to the American Red Cross to support these initiatives.

John Krafcik, President and CEO, Hyundai Motor America, explains, "The devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy has created enormous loss and challenges for millions in the storm's wake. We know how important the relief efforts of the Red Cross are and hope that our donation can make a difference in helping those still recovering from the extraordinary impact of this storm."1

Hyundai is also encouraging its fans, dealer network, vendor partners, and employees to take part in the massive relief operations by volunteering or providing additional support (through donating blood, etc.) Have you done your part to aid in the clean-up efforts? Now's a great time to do so!

Caring auto brand Hyundai and its representative dealership, Lujack Hyundai, are here to help when its drivers and the community at-large are in need, whether it's through providing a reasonably-priced new set of winter tires from our friendly Hyundai service center or through larger community initiatives.
